Richard Drexler, MD, PhD
Richard joined the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2026 as Principal Investigator of the laboratory. He is Assistant Professor of Neuroscience and a member of the Friedman Brain Institute and the Brain-Body Research Institute.

Kim Kilian
Kim is a medical student from Hamburg, Germany, currently conducting research in the Drexler Laboratory as a Visiting Student Researcher. Prior to his research stay, he worked in a lab for pediatric neuro-oncology investigating local brain infiltration in medulloblastoma. He is supported by a Boehringer Ingelheim MD Fellowship.
